Co-Founder → 1+1=3
1+1=3 is an exhibition program and platform for artistic and curatorial experimentation hosted by Along Projects since 2022, which I developed in collabroation with artist Roe Ly.
Young artists and curators in pairs of two are invited to create a common third together—one collaborative exhibition in three phases, where emphasis is placed on experimentation, process and learning-by-doing.
During the program the pair present three exhibition phases in the windows of 11Atelier, Frederiksberg (DK), while documenting on-going collaborative artistic and curatorial processes. Each exhibition phase is of one month’s duration, i.e. three months in total, and culminates in a closing event.
Throughout the process we—Roe Ly and I—assist with guidance whenever needed and as much as possible. By doing so, the program supports emerging young artists and curators. Whether you have a degree or not does not matter to us, and there is no expectation that you already have the entire exhibition figured out when you apply.
